Show Tracker 2 is a small application created to help keep track of episodes and shows you watch.

How to use this application

Adding a show

Select Add Show from the Actions menu. An add show dialog will display. Enter a show name next to the search button and then click on the search button.
A list of shows will be displayed and then you must choose the show you were looking for and click Add below.
The show will now be added to your list of tracked shows.

Removing a show

Select the show you want to remove and select Remove Show from the Actions menu.
The show will be removed

Updating all show information

Select Refresh Show Info from the Actions menu.
Once the progress bar is finished all shows will have been updated.

Updating all show images

Select Refresh Show Images from the Actions menu.
Once the progress bar is finished all shows images will have been updated.
This is a long process since lots of files have to be downloaded.

Marking an episode as watched

Select a show, select a season, find the episode you are looking for and click the checkbox if it is not checked

Marking an episode as not watched

Select a show, select a season, find the episode you are looking for and click the checkbox if it is checked

Colour dashboard

A colour may be displayed next to a show, a season, or and episode. This colour is to inform you of the status of the episodes.

• Green There are episodes available to be watched
• Yellow There is an episode tomorrow
• Blue There is an episode this week
• Red There is a known episode in the future

The highest colour on the list gets priority

Backing up your data

Make a copy of the shows.xml file in the resources folder.
You can also optionally copy the rest of the files in the resources folder.

Maintenance

You will only ever need to use these features if you are looking to clear up some space.

Deleting show XML data

Select Delete Show XML from the Maintenance menu. This will delete all the XML files stored for all shows. This includes currently tracked shows and shows that you used to track.
After doing this it is IMPORTANT that you Refresh Show Info

Deleting show images

Select Delete Images from the Maintenance menu. This will delete all the images stored for all shows. This includes currently tracked shows, shows that you used to track, and shows that showed up in search results.
